Can I make a before and after with just two photos?
Yes. Add two photos and export as Image for a JPG or PNG, or as video to get a short clip with a slow zoom on each photo that you can post as a reel.
Free · photos and videos together · nothing uploaded
Two cells, two labels, one clear story. Drop in your before and after, photos or clips, and export a video or image that shows the change.
A before and after video shows the same thing twice: once as it was, once as it is now. Pick the Before and after template in the Layout tab (or add two items on this page), and the Before and After labels are already in place. Tap a label in the Text tab to rename it, for example "Day 1" and "Day 90".
Stacked suits Stories, Reels and TikTok; Before and after, side by side suits landscape and square posts. Either half can be a photo or a video, so a still "before" photo next to an "after" walk-round clip works well.
Select Add photos and videos and pick the before first. They fill the cells in that order; drag to swap if needed.
Tap each cell and drag or zoom so the subject is the same size and position in both. This is what sells the change.
In the Text tab, select a label and change its words. Label style keeps them readable on any background.
In Timing, turn on Show one by one so the after appears a beat later, with Pop, Fade or Slide up.
Select Export: Export video for an MP4, or choose Image for a JPG when both halves are photos.
Room makeovers, garden seasons, haircuts and make-up, fitness progress, car detailing, restored furniture, a puppy then and now, photo edits, and app redesigns. For a then-and-now with more than two moments, a three-cell split or a video grid shows the whole journey.
Yes. Add two photos and export as Image for a JPG or PNG, or as video to get a short clip with a slow zoom on each photo that you can post as a reel.
Open the Text tab and tap a label, then edit Words. You can also change its font, colour and style, or delete it.
Yes. Turn on Show one by one in the Timing tab and set Time between cells. The after cell then pops, fades or slides in on cue.
Not yet. The comparison shows both halves at once, or reveals the second with Show one by one.
Use Story 9:16 (1080×1920) for Reels and Stories, or Post 4:5 or Tall post 3:4 for the feed. The stacked layout suits all three.
