How many videos can I put on one screen?
Up to nine in one collage. With more than nine, keep the best nine: tiny cells are hard to watch on a phone anyway.

Four, six or nine clips playing together in a tidy grid, with photos mixed in if you have them. Every cell the same size, every clip in sync.
A video grid puts several clips on one screen in equal cells that all play at the same time. Select Add photos and videos, pick four, six or nine clips, and the matching grid is chosen for you: 2 × 2, 2 × 3 or 3 × 3. Then select Export to save one MP4.
Grids work for highlight reels, product angles, a day in ten-second moments, or everyone’s reaction to the same thing. For two or three clips, the split screen layouts make better use of the frame.
Square suits a 2 × 2 or 3 × 3 grid for feeds; Story suits 2 × 3 or 2 × 4 for stories; Landscape suits 3 × 2.
Select Add photos and videos and choose them all at once. The Layout tab’s Grids group lists every even grid.
Tap a cell and drag to reframe faces into the middle; use Zoom to fill the cell. Drag one cell onto another to swap.
In Style, adjust Gaps between cells and Border around the edge. Mute clips whose sound would clash, or add music.
Select Export, then Export video for an MP4 where every cell plays at once.
Not a round number? The Mosaic group has uneven layouts for five and seven items, and a big cell gives your best clip pride of place. Empty cells show your background colour in the export, so you can also leave one blank on purpose.
Nine clips with nine soundtracks is noise. Mute all but one clip, or add a song under Music and choose Mute for Clip sound. Visually, a small gap (8 to 16 px) and a dark background separate the cells better than no gap at all.
If clips are different lengths, decide in the Timing tab whether short ones Loop or Freeze, or set an exact length such as 15 seconds so the grid ends cleanly.

Yes, every cell plays at once. If you would rather they appear one after another, turn on Show one by one in the Timing tab.
Yes. Photos and videos share the grid; photos stay on screen for the whole video with an optional slow zoom.
Each cell of a 3 × 3 Square grid is roughly 350 pixels wide at the 1080×1080 export size, which is sharp on a phone. Use Zoom only as much as you need, because zooming in enlarges the source pixels.
Yes. Choose 60 fps (smoother) in the Export settings. Clips filmed at 30 fps still play at their own speed.
